Because I have 2+ pounds of this taunting me now!!
I just can’t see myself spinning that on my hitchhiker
It’s sooooo soft, and the curls are all so cute!! There is a fair amount of VM still in the fleece, but it’s “clean” VM (looks like fresh alfalfa, actually – most of it is very green!) and seems to be falling out fairly easily.. I’m sure once the rest of the fleece is dry, fluffing in the dryer will get most of the rest out, then I can pick out what is left by hand.

I’m trying to, at least
My fiber/crafty stuff is starting to take over (ok, no, it *has* taken over), and since there really wasn’t anywhere for it (I’d already filled both of my MARKÖR cabibets from IKEA), it had started to get organized in “piles” rather than put away… so I bought some shelves..
Sadly, that’s only what was on the floor, in my bedroom
The black zippered bins on the bottom have raw fiber in them (in baggies), the baskets have yarn in them, the blue bin has some fiber ready to spin, and the teal and purple boxes hold my noro for my Lizard Ridge afghan. Above that are my baggies, a couple of books, and above all that (on top, you can’t see) is my knitters loom and my dye pots. I haven’t yet tackled what is laying around in the rest of the house. Thankfully though, I can add on as I need more space.. there’s about 6′ of wall to the right I can still take over, plus GORM is about the cheapest storage solution IKEA offers, and it’s totally customizable, so I can do what I want as needed
All of the fiber/craft stuff shall be contained!

That’s not even all the fuzz that came off, just most! I got brave and used a razor instead of my sweater shaver.
It worked *very* well however I don’t think I’ll be doing this all the time.. just when the amount of pilling gets to be worse than the sweater stone and shaver can easily manage…

So I was trying to make a little bit of progress on my Forest Canopy Shoulder Shawl last night, and I muddled through 3 rows with many mistakes before I figured it might be a good idea to give up for the night! I’m hoping those mistakes won’t really show once it’s all done.. I’ve got it all evened out now so that I have the right # of stitches in the right place again, but oops!
On the bright side though, I am actually making progress
Not sure when I’ll be finished though.. depends on how big I decide to make it, since I realized that the pattern isn’t meant to be as big as I’d have wanted so I have to add to it a little.
You can’t really see the pattern since I didn’t stretch it out, but I totally love the colors
The yarn is Schaefer’s Anne, I’m not sure of the colorway as that tag was missing when I bought the yarn.

It’s it beautiful!?!
From a ewe named “Awe” at Twin Willows Farm this is a white Border Leicester fleece. I don’t have it yet, but it’s paid for and will be on it’s way soon!
