So I haven’t updated in a while..

Because I’ve been really sick lately – nothing major, I caught some tummy bug last week that really had me in bad shape, and I’ve had so much to do around the house catching up, that I really haven’t had time to do much else.

I’ve been going nuts making stitch markers though.. I love them so much (and they work REALLY well!) and they’re fun to make, so I stocked my Hyenacart for tomorrow… only to find out there’s several other people ALSO stocking very similar stitch markers tomorrow (but there were none when I checked a couple of days ago?) but at prices that are hardly worth the effort… grr. That’s just so freaking annoying.

So maybe I’ll sell some, and maybe not.. if I don’t, I’ll just go list them over at Etsy. I know my prices are fair, I just HATE when people go and charge bottom dollar to make a quick buck – it only hurts everyone in the end. No one values the work that goes into making things (and scouting out materials) and as a result no one wants to pay what they’re worth. Of course, none of the others have nearly the work in them that mine do – no one seems to want to take the time to wire-wrap these things, perhaps because they are so small and no one thinks it matters, but I know from experience that the non-wrapped ones catch on everything and become SUPER annoying to use.. so as quick and easy as they are to make, it’s just not worth it in the end.

And in the end, I could have a gazillion stitch markers to keep for myself, and if that’s the case, that’s fine, I won’t mind – I happen to *like* them all
